Bolingbrook Raiders Football Ranked #25 in the Nation

The Raiders football team has been ranked #25 by USA Today. 

That's a big jump in the rankings from the beginning of the season, when the team was ranked #58.

The Super 25 rankings were compiled by USA TODAY’s Jim Halley, based on teams’ results through Sunday, schedule and quality of players.

Bolingbrook was the only school from Illinois in the top 25. 

Here were the top five schools in the rankings: 

1. Manatee High School in Bradenton, FL 
2. De La Salle HS in Concord, CA 
3. Grayson High School in Loganville, GA 
4. Santa Margarita in Rancho Santa Margarita, CA
5. John Curtis Christian High School in River Ridge, LA 

Bolingbrook has stayed atop the Chicago Tribune Top 20 football rankings: 

1. Bolingbrook High School (3-0)
2. Maine South (3-0)
3. Mount Carmel (3-0)
4. Glenbard West (3-0)
5. Loyola (2-1)
