Report: Bolingbrook Man Threatened to Kill Cop, Rape His Family

David Ostrowski arrested in mid-May for threatening public official.

The Bolingbrook man arrested for May 17 had said he would kill a police officer and rape members of his family, according to Will County prosecutors.

David Ostrowski, 36, of the 300 block of Grosvenor Court, was indicted last week for threatening a public official, a Herald-News report said.

Ostrowski appeared in Will County Court on Wednesday morning for his arraignment.

Court records show Ostrowski left a phone message for a Bolingbrook police officer in which he threatened the officer’s life and said he would rape the officer’s children and family, according to the report.

Ostrowski is being held in the Will County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail, the report said.
