3 Charged In Brawl, Shooting At Greektown Restaurant
Two men charged in connection with a shooting in Greektown Saturday were convicted of second-degree murder in 2013.

CHICAGO, IL -- Two of the three men charged in connection with a shooting and brawl in Greektown on Saturday were convicted of second-degree murder in 2013, court officials said Monday. Surveillance video revealed that Tariq Anderson, 26, repeatedly beat a man with a gun early Saturday morning at Taco Burrito King on West Jackson Boulevard, court authorities said.
Anderson and Deshaun Carter, both 26, were convicted of second-degree murder after they beat a 17-year-old Shaun Bowens to death in 2008, according to prosecutors.
Friends of Bowens recognized Anderson and Carter at the restaurant in Greektown Saturday morning, and a fight broke out, prosecutors said.
