Franciscan Health to Host Chicago Heights History Lecture

Kick-off event for hospital's Remembering the Past. Celebrating the Future. campaign on Saturday, January 27

Franciscan Health will host a free lecture entitled, Spotlight on Chicago Heights History: The Early 20th Century to Today, on Saturday, January 27, 2018, at 2:00 p.m., at Cornet Hall on the hospital’s Chicago Heights campus, located at 1423 Chicago Road.

Noted Chicago Heights historian and author Dominic Candeloro will host this free entertaining and informative discussion about the history of Chicago Heights and the positive contributions Franciscan Health has made to the city over the years.

It is the first event in a six-month campaign designed to acknowledge Franciscan Health’s 117 years of uninterrupted service to the families and communities of Chicago’s Southland, and recognize those who contributed to the fulfillment of that mission. Entitled Remembering the Past. Celebrating the Future., this campaign will also celebrate the Franciscan Health’s future as the Southland’s mission-driving regional health system.
