Area Farmers Markets Return This Weekend for Summer Season

It’s that time of year, again.

Local farmers markets have, or will be, opening soon for the summer season.

The first Crystal Lake Farmers Market of the summer will be held this Saturday, June 6.

The farmers market will be open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Saturday through Oct. 17 in Depot Park, which is located next to the downtown Crystal Lake Metra train station.

The popular farmers market in Woodstock kicked off in May and will also be running through October. The market boasts several vendors located in the historic Woodstock Square and is held from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Tuesday and Saturday.

The Cary Farmers Market will return for the summer season starting this Sunday, June 7. The market will be held every Sunday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. through Sept. 27.

The Cary Farmers Market is located at the west end of the Cary Metra station commuter parking lot off the intersection of High Road and West Main Street in downtown Cary.
