Quarterback Ikey Grzynkowicz powered Dundee-Crown with three rushing touchdowns and a passing score, while penalties and stalled drives kept the Gators from finding an offensive rhythm in this Fox Valley Conference matchup.
   

• Teacher and basketball coach at Island Lake, Illinois, school charged with child pornography (cbsnews.com) — Crystal Lake police arrested a 27-year-old Island Lake teacher and basketball coach on child pornography charges after an Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force investigation. The Wauconda District 118 educator, now on administrative leave and barred from school property, has prompted the district to bring in crisis teams and counselors for students and staff while multiple local police departments coordinate on the case.
   

• Kerrie Lambert (themonroetimes.com) — A Crystal Lake High School alumna, Kerrie Lambert, has died at 53, and her family plans a private burial later in Crystal Lake Cemetery. Though services are in Wisconsin, her strong Illinois roots, Special Olympics achievements, and deep devotion to nieces and nephews make this a meaningful notice for Crystal Lake friends and former classmates who may wish to remember her warmly.
