Black Lives Matter Protest Planned For Crystal Lake
The protests are supposed to take place from 4 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday at Veteran Acres Park.
CRYSTAL LAKE, IL — A Black Lives Matter protest is expected to take place this afternoon at Veteran Acres Park in Crystal Lake. So far, all of the McHenry County demonstrations held in response to the death of George Floyd have remained peaceful but elsewhere, looters and rioters have caused damage to businesses and property.

The protest on Wednesday will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. and protestors are encouraged to wear face coverings and black clothing and bring signs, the Northwest Herald is reporting.
