Cary Spring Clean-Up Starts This Week
Spring Clean-Up is a great opportunity to get rid of all of the "junk" that has been collecting in your basement, garage or attic.
The village's Spring Clean-Up program begins and you are encouraged to take advantage of this free program.
Spring Clean-Up Collection will take place on the same day as resident's regularly scheduled collection day (Wednesday, Thursday or Friday). Please ensure all items are placed by the curb no later than 7 a.m. Items that cannot be collected by Groot include any electronic items (computers, monitors, TV's, DVD players, etc.), per State of Illinois law. Other items that will not be collected include:
- Automobile Batteries
- Batteries
- Gas Tanks
- Household Hazardous Waste
- Landscape Timbers
- Propane Tanks
- Rocks/Concrete
- Root Balls
- Sod/Dirt
- Tires
