Cary Taking Applications, Seeking New Village Clerk
The acting village clerk got another job opportunity, so she's stepping down.

CARY, IL — The Village of Cary is in need of a new clerk after acting Village Clerk Janice Rhodes stepped down, according to reports.
Rhodes' stepping down was announced by Cary Mayor Mark Kownick, the NW Herald reported. Rhodes had been serving since June after nobody ran for office in April.
Village Administrator Jake Rife will be taking on some of the clerk's duties, like taking roll call at meetings, and other staff are transcribing the minutes. Kownick hopes to have the role permanently filled before February.
