Celebrate Global Running Day

Crystal Lake, IL — Community members of all ages and fitness levels are invited to lace up their shoes and celebrate Global Running Day on Wednesday, June 3, from 6:00–7:00 PM at Three Oaks Recreation Area in Crystal Lake.

Hosted in partnership with Smith Physical Therapy+ and The Running Depot, this free event honoring Global Running Day, encourages participants to get moving in a fun and relaxed environment. Observed annually on the first Wednesday in June, the holiday promotes physical fitness, mental well-being, and the unifying power of the global running community.

Guests are invited to run, walk, or combine both while enjoying the scenic new Lake Loop Trail at Three Oaks Recreation Area. The Lake Loop Trail spans approximately 3.4 miles and allows participants to travel around the entire lake. Attendees may complete as many loops as they wish during the event.

The event is free to attend, but registration is requested.
