Construction Ahead Of Schedule At Crystal Lake Hospital

CRYSTAL LAKE, IL — Construction is nearly six months ahead of schedule on the new Mercyhealth Hospital and Medical Center in Crystal Lake.

The facility, which will be located on Three Oaks Road and Route 31 and would bring the first-ever 24/7 emergency room to town, is expected to open in early 2023, Shaw Media is reporting.

The $105 million hospital will include private inpatient suites, private intensive care suites, surgery suites and diagnostic services. Medical center services offered include family medicine, orthopedics and sports medicine, gastroenterology, general surgery, cardiology, cancer care, infusion therapy, chronic pain services, physical therapy and lab and X-ray services.

The hospital will bring 134 permanent health jobs to the area.
