Crystal Lake Couple Charged With Pot Dealing
Police showed up at their house at 6 a.m. Monday on a search warrant, a release says, and found a pot-distribution operation.
CRYSTAL LAKE, IL — A Crystal Lake couple is facing drug charges after police executed a search warrant of their home on the 300 block of E. Crystal Lake Avenue, according to a release from the department. James Fulton, 64, and Robin Fulton, 58 were arrested that day.
Around 6 a.m. Monday, Crystal Lake police showed up at the Fulton home to execute the warrant. Police say they found "controlled substances in preparation for delivery and sale, along with Felony amounts of cannabis within the residence."
Police say they also found "additional evidence of unlawful drug activity," but didn't specify. James was arrested on the scene. Robin was arrested later in the day.

They're both being charged with:
- Unlawful possession of cannabis with the intent to deliver (class 3 felony)
- Unlawful possession of a controlled substance (class 4 felony)
- Unlawful possession with intent to deliver controlled substance (class 1 felony)
The couple is being held at the McHenry County Jail in Woodstock awaiting a bond hearing.
