Detour Warning: Crystal Lake Railroad Crossing Closed
City officials are warning that the crossing will be closed from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday.
CRYSTAL LAKE, IL — The City of Crystal Lake is warning residents of the closing of a railroad crossing in town.
From 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 4, the railroad crossing on Route 176 between Park Boulevard and Erick Street will be closed.
Town workers have raised signs in the area telling motorists of a detour route using Route 31 and Route 14, the press release from Crystal Lake said.
