Chill Out at Polar Ice House Open House

Cool off your weekend and spend a fun day with your kids at Cary’s Polar Ice House Open House on Saturday, June 18th from 1-4 p.m. Guest can enjoy free ice skating, games, prizes, food and a special visit from the Carolina Hurricanes beloved mascot, Stormy.

Polar Ice House’s Cary location is hosting the open house for families to escape the summer heat and discover what Polar Ice House has to offer. There will be a DJ on-site to enhance the ice-skating experience as well as instructors offering mini-lessons to novice skaters.

Have a competitive side? There will be plenty of games to participate in such as a shoot-to-win contest and other family friendly games. Contestants will have a chance to win gift certificates valid for programs at Polar Ice House, such as learn-to-skate classes or a complimentary birthday party.

After working up an appetite on the ice, Polar will have free food on-site for all to enjoy. While eating, those interested can pick up tickets for door prizes, as well as socializing with Stormy and Polar Ice House’s own mascot, Icey. Guests can also browse through Polar’s game room, where local businesses, such as Ruckus, Monkey Joe’s, Rita’s, and Marmalade Skies, will have tables set up with information and an assortment of goodies.
