FCC Crystal Lake Jubilate's 5th Annual "Bells of Praise" Handbell Concert

When Jubilate, the adult handbell choir at First Congregational Church, takes the stage at their 5th Annual Handbell Concert, audience members are guaranteed a joyful and exuberant visual and sonic experience through various arrangements presented. The public is invited to attend.

Under the direction of FCC Bellmaster Toni Gambini, the choir performs many pieces, including "Jubilation Fanfare" composed by Sandra Eithun; "Compassion" by Jason Krug; and "Velocity" composed by H. Dean Wagner. "Allegro" as well as "Largo" from Concerto in D Minor by Bach features performances by Sara Prather and Robin Restrepo, violinists.

Ringers David Brachmann, Mike Chakoian, Kristina Hanson, Amy Zakoian, as well as Robin and Sara, are featured in a chime ensemble, performing "Little Fugue" arr. by Michael Kastner.

"Spanish Song" calls for percussion and electric bass to accompany the bell choir and "Firefest Polka" feature dueling anvils (Kyle Irwin and Steve Ramirez). After the concert, be sure to join the musicians for refreshments in Fellowship Hall.
