First Friday @ the Dole- Plus Community Harvest Drop off Site

The public is welcome on the ‘First Friday’ of every month for our open house event featuring art, music, refreshments from 5pm-7:30pm. Free to attend, donations appreciated!

Come to the Last First Friday of 2011 on Friday, November 4th! Close our great gallery season with this great night of art, music, food and community! This is a family friendly event! The event also features a drop of bin for the Crystal Lake Community Harvest Food Drive for the Crystal Lake Food Panty! Please come celebrate community and the arts and bring a donation to Community Harvest!

Tickets are on sale now for Christmas at the Dole. Art is a huge part of this event, along with vignette holiday performances and a tree-lighting. November First Friday is on Friday, November 4th and features four unique exhibits plus the beatuiful work of our resident partner artists in our hallway. The Lobby Gallery feautres "Faces & Places" By artists Linda Berk & Diane Morino Paintings in Oil.

The Sage Gallery features the "Reflections Show" By the Pigment Group. The Dole Gallery features “Autumn on the Lake” by artist Lynn Miller-Pastels and Watercolor. For more information on Lynn visit www.lynnmillerartist.com.

The 2nd & 3rd Floors of the Historic Dole Mansion (3D Art Space- non-traditional gallery space in the historic rooms of the Dole Mansion) Mansion) features the McHenry County College Fibers Student Exhibit. Lakeside Legacy Foundation at the Historic Dole Mansion is proud to be a collection site for the 2011 Communit Harvest. Community Harvest is an effort to collect food and funds during the fall season and is a combined effort of The Crystal Lake Chamber, Crystal Lake Jaycees, and the Crystal Lake Food Pantry as well as numerous churches, businesses and individuals throughout the community.

Donations can be brought to 401 Country Club Road, Crystal Lake, IL 60014, Monday thru Friday from 9am-5pm and placed in the drop off bin in the Lobby of Lakeside Legacy at the Dole Mansion.

All donations to Community Harvest, both food and monetary, are used to benefit clients of the Crystal Lake Food Pantry as well as the Jaycees Share a Christmas program. All efforts culminate on Thanksgiving Morning with the weighing, sorting and packing of all food donations to be used for the coming months.
