Government Offices, Libraries Announce Weather-Related Closures

MCHENRY COUNTY, IL — Snow is starting to fall in McHenry County, and the cancellations are also starting to pour in.

Here is a list of cancellations as of 10:30 a.m.:

• McHenry County Government facilities will be closing at noon Thursday and will also be closed Friday. Facilities will be closed, but emergency response operations will continue.
• Crystal Lake Public Library: Closing at noon Thursday
• Joyful Noise Christian Preschool in McHenry: Closed Thursday
• Academy Of Stars Childcare in Lake Barrington: Closing at 2 p.m. Thursday
• Fox River Grove Memorial Library: Closed Thursday and Friday
• Huntley Area Public Library: Closing at 1 p.m.
