Help Crystal Lake Murder Victim's 3 Young Sons: GoFundMe

Crystal Lake native Becky Kazecki died a week ago in Joliet from head trauma. Her death was ruled a homicide.

CRYSTAL LAKE, IL — Financial support is rising on GoFundMe to help out the three young sons whose 38-year-old mother Rebecca "Becky" Kazecki was beaten to death last week in Joliet, according to Will County prosecutors. This week's GoFundMe is called Support after Tragic Loss of Mother. It has a fundraising goal of $35,000.

Rebecca Kazecki, who is from Crystal Lake, was a long-time teacher in Joliet. Her husband Michael Kazecki has been charged with three counts of first-degree murder. The family lived on Joliet's McDonough Street.

"On August 7th, Becky (Brackenrich) Kazecki tragically died, leaving her 3 boys Roman (11), Jackson (9) and William (5) without their loving mother and leaving them without an active parent," the GoFundMe states.
