Alexander Leigh Center for Autism (ALCA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, full day, year-round therapeutic day school approved by the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE). ALCA’s mission is to provide an environment where children on the autism spectrum can develop their potential academically, emotionally, socially, communicatively, and physically. Alexander Leigh Center for Autism (ALCA) student population is comprised of children 3-15 years old with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), OHI, multiple disabilities, developmental delay and/or intellectual disability. The program provides one-to-one support and intensive therapies to assist students in making measurable gains. ALCA is based in Crystal Lake, Illinois and currently serves Cook, DuPage, Kane, Lake, and McHenry counties.
