No Bail Reduction For Man Accused Of Hitting Pregnant Woman

His bail will remain at $25,000, reports say. He's been convicted of domestic battery before.

WOODSTOCK, IL — A Chicago man accused of hitting and threatening a pregnant woman in August will have no reduction in bail, according to the Northwest Herald. Timothy Lee Jr., 30, of Chicago, had requested the reduction in bail but it was denied after the judge heard details about the charges.

Lee's bond will remain at $25,000 with 10 percent to post to be released from McHenry County Jail. He was charged with domestic battery and unlawful restraint for the Aug. 19 events in which he's accused of entering the woman's home, yelling and breaking things, and threatening to "beat that baby" out of her, the Herald reported.

She reported that Lee had punched her twice in the face. He was subsequently charged with domestic battery and unlawful restraint. She also accused him of choking her until she began to black out, according to the Herald, and added she was afraid of what Lee may have done had she gone unconscious.
