Edward William Wiloffā Died April 17, 2011
He was born March 20, 1930, in Chicago to the late Emil and Eleanor (nee Heinle) Wiloff. He married Beverly Paster on May 7, 1955.

Mr. Wiloff was a graduate of Lane Tech High School, served in the US Navy and Army, was a Korean War veteran, and went on to teach training classes in the Army Reserves. He retired from the Northbrook Post Office, where he had been a letter carrier for 38 years. He was an avid White Sox Fan, a former little league baseball coach at St. Maryās Catholic School in Buffalo Grove, and enjoyed pinochle and horseshoes.
In addition to his wife, survivors include his children, Edward Michael (Brenda), Paul (Linda), and Carl (Cora) Wiloff and Ann (Paul) Olson; grandchildren, Kayleen Wiloff, Christina (Donald) Langlois, Jillian (fiancƩ Nathan) Wiloff, Ashley and Aaron (fiancƩe Amy)Wiloff, Brianna Olson, and Andrew and Peter Kane; and great-grandchildren, Ava and Jeffrey Langlois.

Martha A. VallejoāDied May 03, 2011
Martha A. Vallejo, of Crystal Lake, passed away Tuesday, May 3, 2011, at the Inpatient Unit of the Hospice of Northeastern Illinois in Woodstock. She was born in Riobamba, Ecuador to the late Angel and Elvira (nee Vallejo) Pozo. She married George Vallejo August 12, 1968, in Newark, NJ.
She loved practical jokes, traveling, gardening and especially hosting, entertaining and cooking. Mrs. Vallejo had a great knack for remembering the birthdays and anniversaries of her friends and family and for keeping her family and friends close. She was very generous with putting the needs of her family and friends before her own.
Mrs. Vallejo was a devout Catholic, who prayed often and loved God. She especially loved her granddaughters, who were the light of her life.
In addition to her husband, survivors include her son, Raul (Lisa) Viteri of Algonquin; granddaughters, Lauren and Jessica Viteri; siblings, Raul (Yolanda) Pozo, Carlos (Mirian) Pozo, Guido (Yolanda)Pozo, Lala (Andrew) Hopta, and Rod (Fran) Pozo; and many adored nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Fabiola Rodriguez.
Burial took place in Crystal Lake Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mary Jane Spittelā Died May 02, 2011
Mary Jane was born on September 5, 1922 in Baltimore, MD to John Bernard and Cecelia (Necome) OāDonnell.
She graduated in 1946 with an RN degree from Mercy Hospital Nursing School in Baltimore, MD and worked through 1948 in Obstetrics at City Hospital, Mercy Hospital and Lutheran General Hospital, all in Baltimore.
On January 24, 1948 she married James M. Spittel in the Baltimore Cathedral in Baltimore, MD.
After she mothered one boy, Craig, and two girls, Barbara and Judith, she resumed nursing in Obstetrics and Maternity at Georgetown University Hospital and General Nursing at the National Institute of Health, both in Washington, DC, through 1956. While on duty in Georgetown Hospital Maternity, one of her patients was Jackie Kennedy with son, Jon Jon.
After the birth of her second son, Timothy, Mary Jane continued her Maternity nursing at Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring, MD. During her tenure at Holy Cross, George Wallace, Governor of Alabama, while on the presidential campaign trail in Laurel, MD, was shot and received treatment at Holy Cross. After his treatment he issued commendations to all of the nursing personnel, including, Mary Jane, by appointing them Honorary Lieutenant Colonel Aide-de-Camp in the Alabama State Militia for the 12th day of July, 1972.
After relocating to the Woodstock, IL area in 1973, she continued her nursing career in the Maternity section at Woodstock Memorial Hospital. In 1974, she switched her nursing focus to Geriatrics at Crystal Pines Nursing Home in Crystal Lake, IL. She retired in December, 1984.
After retirement, she joined her husband in traveling the North American Continent in their Holiday Rambler recreational vehicle.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, James; four children, J. Craig Spittel of Seattle, WA, Barbara A. Spittel of Crystal Lake, IL, Judith M. Smith of Gaithersburg, MD, and Timothy O. Spittel of Crystal Lake, IL; and two grandchildren Teresa and Chad and three great-grandchildren Piper, Hunter, and Archer in Gaithersburg, MD.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Burial was held at Crystal Lake Memorial Park on Ridgefield Road.
Thomas Slaninkaā Died April 29, 2011
Tom was born on July 8, 1938, to Emil and Elsie (nee Rehak) Slaninka, in Chicago.
Tom worked for Motorola for 38 years. He began his career as an Industrial Engineer in 1960. He advanced through various assignments within this business, eventually becoming Inventory Control and Systems Manager. Tom then progressed to Material Operations Manager, Manufacturing Operations Manager and the Director of Manufacturing Operations in the Fixed Products Division. In 1989, Tom became the Director of Sector Sourcing for the Communications Sector.
Throughout his career, Tom established new directions and set new standards of excellence. His reputation as a strategic thinker and process champion in the sourcing arena is established throughout the industry and supplier community. He represented Motorola at various industry forums; he participated in leadership conferences on sourcing as a guest speaker at General Electric, IBM, 3M and many other corporations, as well as at governmental conferences in Ireland and India. He made the cover of āPurchasingā magazine, a national publication for purchasing professionals, bringing Motorola well-earned recognition as a leader in this area.
He is survived by his wife, Merle (nee Singer) of 50 years; children, Laura (Tom) Healy, Julie (Mark) Nystrom, Chris (Matt) Hintz, Carrie (John) Wagner, Nancy (Paul) Forster; grandchildren, Eileen, Kerri, and Liam Healy, Jack, Kate, Brett, and Brian Nystrom, Renee Hintz and Jason Hintz, Jessica Wagner and Mark Wagner, Nick Forster and Andrew Forster; brother, Richard (Marilyn) Slaninka, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at SS. Peter and Paul Parish.
