Physical Therapist Accused Of Groping Client Appears In Court
His attorney requested to continue the case until Jan. 3, according to reports.

WOODSTOCK, IL — A Crystal Lake physical therapist, who has been accused of groping a patient, appeared in court Tuesday on a battery charge.
Michael Lim, 39, of the 10700 block of Santa Fe Trail in Huntley, was expected to enter a plea on Tuesday but his attorney, David Franks, asked to continue the matter to Jan. 3, the Northwest Herald reported.
Lim, who was the Master Pain Practitioner of Advanced Pain Rehab in Crystal Lake. On Tuesday, Sept. 26, Lim offered to massage to a client who was on her second appointment at the practice.

During the massage, Lim put his hands on the victim's bare breasts, according to a press release from the Crystal Lake Police Department. An investigation began the next day, and on Nov. 16, police obtained a warrant for Lim on the charge of battery.
Amid the charges, Lim turned himself in the same day his warrant was issued, according to police. He posted $1,500 bond and was released.

He is due to appear in court again on Dec. 12 before entering a plea.
