Teen Girl Catches On Fire At McHenry Party: Report
A 17-year-old girl was on the back patio of a McHenry home at a party when gasoline was spilled on her, police said.

MCHENRY, IL — A teen girl is in critical condition after being severely burned at a McHenry party Saturday night, according to reports. Police and fire units responded to the scene in the 4800 block of Shore Drive around 10:40 p.m. Saturday, a report from the Northwest Herald says.
Young adults and teens were having a party at the house when a group used gasoline to light a fire in a firepit on the patio, McHenry police officer Patrick Polidori said, according to the report. The gas spilled on the girl, causing her to catch fire, authorities said.
The girl was taken in a helicopter to Saint Anthony's hospital in Rockford, the Herald reported.
