Toys 'R' Us in Crystal Lake to Close

The Toys “R” Us in Crystal Lake is slated to close in 2015.

Toys “R” Us is only keeping its combined Toys “R” Us and Babys “R” Us locations, and the 33,000-square-foot store at 6120-A Route 14 in Crystal Lake did not “meet the needs for a combined store,” according to the Northwest Herald.

City officials said it has already found a national retailer to fill the vacant space in 2015 but the Northwest Herald reports officials are not saying which retailer will fill the space at this point.
