Wauconda Student Threatened School Shooting: Police
He's accused of sending a Snapchat to 40 fellow students during school hours, threatening to shoot up the school.

WAUCONDA, IL — A Wauconda High School student is in custody after being accused of threatening to carry out a school shooting at the high school, according to reports.
Carston Goodson, 18, is alleged to have sent out a threatening Snapchat video to 40 fellow students. "I will show you what a school shooter is," he said, according to police.
The "graphic" video was a "continuous rant" sent out to his peers during school hours Tuesday. At about 1 p.m., students made school administrators aware of the threatening video, according to an ABC7 article.

Goodson is facing a charge of disorderly conduct, a class four felony. He was taken into custody that evening at his parents' Island Lake home and is being held at the Lake County Jail on $50,000 bond, ABC7 reported.
He is scheduled to appear in court Nov. 17.
