• Man Lied To Darien Cops About Country Club Fight: Police Report (patch.com) — Darien police say a 33-year-old Hoffman Estates man lied about being randomly punched outside Carriage Greens Country Club after making what he called joking gay remarks in the restroom. Security video instead showed him trying to strike the other man first, leading officers to cite him for disorderly conduct. The report notes he previously faced a battery charge in Chicago in 2018.
