Upset Residents Pack Hinsdale D-86 Meeting
Residents are wielding signs calling for the superintendent's firing and ending of the mask mandate.

DARIEN, IL – More than 150 people have showed up for Thursday's meeting of the Hinsdale High School District 86 board.
Many are holding signs that read, "Fire Tammy Prentiss," referring to the superintendent.
The movement to remove Prentiss caught fire last month when the district suffered its second controversy surrounding the hiring of an anti-racism consultant.

Now, many residents are upset with the continuation of the mask mandate, despite a judge's order to suspend the requirement at District 86, among nearly 150 other districts.
Among those attending Thursday's meeting were state Rep. Deanne Mazzochi, R-Elmhurst, whose district includes part of Hinsdale. She declined to comment on mask issues.
