Hats Off to Wheeling Auto Center

Dr. Seuss, Jeff Gordon, and Wheeling Auto Center partner to find effective and less toxic treatments for pediatric cancer.

Hats Off to Wheeling Auto Center
On average 13,500 children are diagnosed with cancer each year in the United States, the need for effective and less toxic treatments remains a priority despite diminishing public funding.

The Hats Off to Hope! campaign is a collaboration between the Jeff Gordon Children’s Foundation, Dr. Seuss Enterprises, Chase Art Companies, and Random House Children’s Books. The goal is to bring hope, comfort and support to thousands of children currently battling cancer in the United States.

Hats Off To Hope! is a special program within the year-long celebration, Hats Off To Dr. Seuss. Inspired by the 75th anniversary of the Dr. Seuss classic The 500 Hats of Bartholomew Cubbins, the ‘Hats Off’ programming will not only celebrate the remarkable library of children’s books created by Dr. Seuss, but also the span of his incredible career and legacy as a man of many hats: an ad man, a political cartoonist, filmmaker and more.

A counter-signed print is now on display at Wheeling Auto Center (2430 Hintz Rd. Arlington Heights, IL 60004). Stop in to visit, talk cars and/or view the other art on our walls from local elementary students asked, “What would a monster drive?” (http://www.scribd.com/doc/239066479/What-Would-a-Monster-Drive)

At Wheeling Auto Center, giving back to our neighbors is part of doing business. So we support numerous local organizations, hold fundraisers, donate our vehicle expertise, participate in events and help our community in many different ways.
