Medical Pot Patients Will Be Warned of Hazards: Amendment
If amendment to Greenhouse Group, LLC's special use request is approved, patients will be warned about driving and operating machinery.

Future patients the medical marijuana dispensary planned for 151 S. Pfingsten in Deerfield will be warned of the possible hazards of driving or operating machinery after using marijuana if an amendment to a special use request is approved by the village board.
Mayor Harriet Rosenthal said the owners of Greenhouse Group, LLC - the company licensed to open a dispensary in the area - have agreed to the amendment, which will require warning all patients of such potential dangers - according to the Deerfield Review.
The amendment was added last month at the request of Trustee Barbara Struthers, who voiced concerns last month about patients potentially driving under the influence of marijuana.
