Hussain, who Emigrated from Pakistan 45 years ago, said, I grew up in Chicago and I am running for U.S. Congressional District 8 in Illinois because human rights are being overlooked and often violated at an alarming rate. Many critical voices are left unheard and the needs of our constituents are not being met.
I’ve been a part of District 8 Community for many years. I had served Social work in Elgin more than 20 years. I’ve always believed in helping those in need that’s why I’ve traveled the world providing humanitarian support and relief. But today, right here in our own community, hard-working people and middle-class families are struggling just to make ends meet. We need a change.
Over the last year I have personally witnessed too many avoidable atrocities in our district from joblessness, homelessness and our seniors being asked to take on burdens that they just shouldn't have to any more. Our youth doesn't have adequate access to affordable and high-quality education and people in the community are not feeling heard by our current Congressman.”
Mr. Hussain continued, we need to build into the “Infrastructure, community things, Better schools for education focusing on supports the Medicare for All and prevent gun violence and drug epidemic we need to do all those things in District 8th. As a physician when I become a congress member. I will support reduce drug prices. I will be focused on freedom, tax cuts, individual liberties, charity, industry and families.
I will work to build strong partnerships with all the elected officials and community stakeholders.
