AMI Violin Competition - April 30th, 2017
American Music Institute (AMI) will host its annual AMI Violin Competition on April 30th, 2017 at AMI's Downers Grove campus, located just 30 minutes west of downtown Chicago.
AMI Violin Competition Specs:
- Ages 5-18yrs old
- Open Competition
- Application deadline is April 15th, 2017
- Repertoire – 1 piece/movement – level appropriate (up to 10 min)

- 1st Prize – $400
- 2nd Prize – $125
- 3rd Prize – $75
Come hear some of the country's best young artists at the AMI Violin Competition – Memorial Winners Concert on May 21st at 2pm at AMI's Clarendon Hills campus, located at 60 55th St in Clarendon Hills. The Memorial Concert is open to the public where competition Winners and Laureates will showcase their talent and receive their prizes and awards.
American Music Institute is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization with campuses in Clarendon Hills and St. Charles. We are dedicated to enriching our community by offering access to high quality music education programs through merit and financial need scholarships. AMI programs and classes are for all levels, ages, instruments, and styles of music.
