The Downers Grove Downtown Management Corp. is asking community residents to search their basements, attics and photo albums for historic photos of Downers Grove.
The Historic Photo Tour held in July 2010 was well-received and the downtown businesses would like to make this an annual event by bringing it back in August 2011.
In order to ensure that we are as successful this year, we are in need of additional historic photos of Downers Grove. Last year we had nearly 60 photos that ranged from pre-1900 to 1989.
