Anticipation Builds in New Clip from "The Curse of Downers Grove"

With mere days standing between the public and “The Curse of Downers Grove,” a new creepy clip has emerged from the film, which is based on the the 1999 novel “Downers Grove” by Michael Hornburg.
“The Curse of Downers Grove” will premiere in select theaters and on-demand services Aug. 21, with a Blu-ray and DVD release on Sept. 1.

The movie stars Bella Heathcote as Chrissie Swanson, a senior at Downers Grove High School who believes she may become the next victim of a fatal curse.
Lucas Till, Penelope Mitchell, Tom Arnold and Kevin Zegersand also star in the film, which is directed by Derick Martini from a script co-written by Martini and Bret Easton Ellis, author of the novel “American Psycho.” Filming took place in California.
