Church's young adult group raise $5,650 for Chicago Night Ministry

Community of Young Adults at First Congregational United church of Christ host Trivia Night fundraiser

First Congregational United Church of Christ recently held a Trivia Night fundraiser to support The Night Ministry in Chicago. On April 17, the church presented a check for $5,650 to Megan Hoxhalli, congregational and community relationship coordinator for The Night Ministry.

More than 150 people attended the sold-out event March 5, which also included raffle baskets, a 50/50 raffle, a gift card chance, food, and beer or wine for purchase.

The Trivia Night event was organized and hosted by the Community of Young Adults, a church fellowship and service ministry comprised of those aged 18 to 35. The game night was created as a way to celebrate First Congregational UCC’s 150th Anniversary and its history of mission giving.
