The Downers Grove South Swim and Dive team completed their second consecutive 8-0 dual meet record with a 141-24 victory over Morton. The Mustangs dominated from the outset with the 200 Yard Medley Relay teams securing the top 3 places. The team of Annie Leinart, Anna Bogdanski, Jillian Scott and Paige Vondrasek took first. The team of Allie Puccillo, Savannah Duax, Beth Vetter and Kaitlyn Hopp took second and the team of Isabelle Genin, Makaila Scheiblein, Emma Sayre and Aoife McGivern took third. In the 200 Yard Freestyle, Annie Leinart swam her way to victory, while sisters Makaila and Melanie Scheiblein finished second and third. Next up, Anna Bogdanski and Paige Vondrasek took first and second in the 200 Yard IM. Kaitlyn Hopp won the 50 Yard Freestyle, with teammates Savannah Duax and Isabelle Genin taking second and third respectively.
Mustang swimmers Jillian Scott, Jorie Selig and Allie Puccillo swam their way into the top three positions in the 100 Yard butterfly, while Paige Vondrasek, Kaitlyn Hopp and Aoife McGivern did the same in the 100 Yard freestyle. Senior Beth Vetter won the 500 Yard Freestyle, while Makaila Scheiblein and Emma Sayre took second and third place. The Mustang 200 Yard Freestyle Relay team of Jillian Scott, Jorie Selig, Melanie Scheiblein, and Isabelle Genin placed first and the team of Anna Bogdanski, Aoife McGivern, Emma Sayre and Savannah Duax placed second. In the 100 Yard Backstroke, Allie Puccillo swam to victory, while Jillian Scott and Emma Sayre place second and third. Next up, Annie Leinart secured the victory in the 100 Yard Breaststroke and teammates Melanie Scheiblein and Jorie Selig took second and third. Wrapping up the meet, the Mustang 400 Yard Freestyle Relay teams took the top three places once again. The team of Allie Puccillo, Makaila Scheiblein, Jorie Selig and Annie Leinart took first, while the team of Melanie Scheiblein, Beth Vetter, Kaitlyn Hopp, and Savannah Duax and the team of Paige Vondrasek, Aoife McGivern, Isabelle Genin and Anna Bogdanski took second and third.
