Downers Grove Man Accused Of Stealing Concert Tickets At Gunpoint
Police say Jordan Daurham, 20, arranged to meet a person on Snapchat to buy concert wristband tickets before stealing them at gunpoint.

DOWNERS GROVE, IL — A Downers Grove man faces multiple felony charges after police say he stole three concert wristbands at gunpoint.
Jordan Daurham, 20, of the 1200 block of 71st Street, was charged with armed robbery, aggravated unlawful use of a weapon and possession of a stolen motor vehicle in connection with the June 24 incident.
According to prosecutors, Daurham made arrangements on Snapchat to meet a person and sell three wristband tickets to the 2023 Summer Smash Concert in Bridgeview. Police say Daurham met the man near the intersection of Norfolk Avenue and Powell Street around 2 p.m.

Daurham is accused of arriving in a Hyundai Sonata that had been reported stolen out of Chicago four days earlier. Police say the person gave Daurham $300 in cash and Daurham gave them the tickets.
Daurham is accused of then drawing a Glock handgun that had an extended magazine and demanded that the person return the tickets before fleeing the scene by car.

After an investigation, police arrested Daurham outside of his Downers Grove apartment on July 19. Daurham is accused of leading officers on a short foot pursuit before he was taken into custody.
Police say Daurham had a black P80 9mm handgun on him when he was arrested and that the gun had an extended magazine with 13 rounds of ammunition.
“The allegation that in a residential neighborhood, just a block away from a high school, Mr. Daurham pulled out a loaded weapon and robbed a man at gunpoint is shocking,”DuPage County State's Attorney Robert Berlin said in a statement.
Berlin added, “This type of violent gun crime will not be tolerated in DuPage County and will be met with the full force and effect of the law."
Daurham is currently being held on $750,000 and is set to appear in court on Aug. 18 to be arraigned.
