Downers Grove Public Library Celebrates National Library Week, Holds Food for Fines Drive
Downers Grove residents can donate goods to get their overdue fees reduced and participate in fun activities during National Library Week.

DOWNERS GROVE, IL
April 9 – 15 is your chance to celebrate libraries and the contributions they provide. Stop by the Downers Grove Public Library for activities and displays. Share your visit with us by using the hashtag #LibrariesTransform on any photos you take. Don’t forget your library card—if you show it in the Kids Room, you could win a raffle prize!

Also in celebration, you've got a chance to bring down your overdue fine balance by participating in our annual Food for Fines drive. For each unexpired shelf food item, paper good, or toiletry donated, we’ll waive $1.00 from your account. Bring items to the first floor Circulation Desk Saturday, April 8 through Saturday, April 15. Donations benefit FISH Pantry in Downers Grove.
