Ex-Glen Ellyn Lawmaker Pleads Guilty To Shoplifting From Von Maur
She was accused of stealing more than $550 in clothing from the store.

GLEN ELLYN, IL --- A former Glen Ellyn legislator has been banned from Von Maur in Lombard after she pleaded guilty to retail. Sandra Pihos, 71, a former Republican representative, has been sentenced to a year of court supervision, in addition to making a $200 donation to the Anti-Crime Commission, Daily Herald reports.
In September 2017, Pihos was arrested on charges of stealing $571 worth of clothing from Von Maur. Store employees and police said she later came back and attempted to return the items.
Pihos, who initially pleaded "not guilty," served in the Illinois House of Representatives from 2003 to 2015, representing the 42nd and 48th Districts.
