Apparent Gun Drawn Near Bus Stop In Downers Grove: PD
Police say an adult drew what appeared to be a gun during an argument near a school bus stop in Downers Grove Tuesday morning.

DOWNERS GROVE, IL — One person is in custody after police say an apparent handgun was drawn during an argument near a school bus stop in Downers Grove Tuesday morning. The incident took place around 7:50 a.m. in the 2100 block of Prentiss Drive.
Witnesses told police two adults started to argue and one of them took out what appeared to be a handgun. Police say no shots were fired and no injuries were reported. Police announced Wednesday that they had recovered a BB gun resembling a handgun.
Citing the ongoing investigation, Downers Grove police spokesperson Bill Budds was unable to comment on Patch's request for additional information Tuesday afternoon.
