A heartfelt thank you to Hope's Front Door
Through Hope's Front Door many job seekers find new opportunities.

For the last couple of years I have been working, but they have been temporary jobs. With the temp jobs you many only be working for a couple of weeks and you’re never sure when you’re going to get a call that they don’t need you anymore. Living and working that way can be hard. I have been looking for something permanent. I started coming into Hope’s Front Door to get help with gas vouchers. The vouchers would help me look for work or help get to some of my temp jobs while waiting for the first pay check. A month ago I picked up a Hope’s Front Door job list and saw a full-time opening at the Marriott for food/prep. I have a background in catering and food service. After leaving the Hope’s Front Door office, I went straight there to fill out an application . . . and I got the job! I am really happy because this means more stability. The company is also large, so it also means there are opportunities to train and move up to other positions- Craig
