Local churches combine to present Reformation Concert

Hear the combined vocal and handbell choirs of Christ Lutheran, Clarendon Hills (Karen Wilberg, director); Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, Downers Grove (Elizabeth Waldon, director); and Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Lombard (Patrick Barnett, director) present a Reformation Concert on Sunday, October 29, 4:00 pm at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, 4501 Main Street, Downers Grove. Repertoire will include Bach’s cantata #79, Gott der Herr ist Sonn und Schild, and other joyous music. A freewill offering will be received to benefit victims of Hurricanes Harvey and Irma through Lutheran Disaster Response. All are welcome! www.gloriadeichurch.org
