Martin Short's Tivoli Theatre Event Canceled After Death Of His Daughter
The comedian's Feb. 26 appearance has been postponed after his daughter, Katherine, was found dead at 42.

DOWNERS GROVE, IL — Martin Short's Feb. 26 event at Tivoli Theatre has been postponed following the death of his daughter, Katherine, at 42.
The "Comedy for Cancer" show, presented by the H Foundation and featuring Short and hosted by ABC's Cheryl Scott was set to benefit research at Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center of Northwestern University.
In a letter, The H Foundation wrote, in part,

"The H Foundation is saddened to announce the postponement of Martin Short's headlining appearance at Comedy for Cancer on Thursday, February 26."
The letter, shared buy Classic Cinemas Tuesday, continued, "Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with Martin and his loved ones."

Katherine Short was found dead Monday evening of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
H Foundation says it ticket holders will receive updated event information directly as soon as possible.
