Pastel Hues Will Burst in the Sky at Wheaton Color Run
There's still time to register for Wheaton's Fun Run in Color 2017. Runners will dash through bursts of colorful powder downtown.

WHEATON, IL —More than a solid ton of brilliant pastel colors will burst into the sky and rain down on participants at the Fun Run in Color 2017 in Wheaton. The event takes place bright and early at 9 a.m. on April 22 when springtime will be in full force.
The 5K race takes off from Memorial Park at 208 Union Ave. in Wheaton and runners make their way through downtown Wheaton, Northside Park and back. Along the way, runners will pass four different color stations, where they’ll be doused with pink, blue, orange and yellow powder. The event is family-friendly and the colorful powder is food-grade, non-toxic and biodegradable, so there won’t be any mess left behind! After the race, there’ll be plenty of snacks and refreshments to help you recharge.
This fun event is a great opportunity to get some fresh air, some exercise and some hilariously colorful family pics or selfies. It’s also for a good cause; proceeds go to The Play for All Playground & Garden Foundation and the Rotary Club of Wheaton A.M.
