Sandack to Partner with Township Assessors for Session on Understanding/Appealing Property Tax Assessments

Citizens of Illinois’ 81st Legislative House District are invited to join State Representative Ron Sandack (R-Downers Grove) and local tax assessment experts on Saturday, August 13 for a free seminar on understanding the property tax assessment process and learning how to appeal property tax assessments. The event will be held from 10:00-11:00 AM at the Lincoln Center Auditorium, 935 Maple Avenue, Downers Grove.
Joining Sandack at the informational session will be Naperville Township Assessor Warren Dixon III, Lisle Township Assessor John Trowbridge and a representative from the Downers Grove Township Assessor’s office. “These property tax seminars have become very popular, and it is my pleasure to bring experts together so that residents can gain a better understanding of the assessment and appeals process,” said Sandack. “At a time when many homeowners feel they are being taxed out of their homes, it is important that they understand the process and know what remedies are available to them.”
