Spreading God's Love at First Congregational United Church of Christ

This Christmas season, the Music Ministry of First Congregational UCC will be performing a festive holiday concert on December 20th at 7:00 pm (suggested donation of $10). This concert will be held at First Congregational UCC, 1047 Curtiss St. in Downers Grove. A warm reception will follow as we celebrate the birth of our savior, Jesus Christ!

In the spirit of spreading God’s love “outside” our church walls, the Music Ministry will also be performing a concert for the senior residents and their families/ friends at Immanuel Residences located at 1122 Gilbert in Downers Grove at 4 pm on December 20th.

Both concerts will feature the Chancel Choir, a Teen Choir, and a professional Praise Band, “Guided Path”. The evening concert at First Congregational will also feature our very own hand bell group, “The Alleluia Ringers” and the youth-led, Junior Choir.

First Congregational United Church of Christ in Downers Grove also invites you to visit on Thursday, December 24th to view their Christmas Eve family service with youth choirs at 4:30 pm, 8:00 pm service with a contemporary band, the Guided Path and candlelight and the traditional service featuring the Chancel Choir, Harp and Candlelight at 11:00 pm.
