• New Operator Purchases Existing Data Center In Elk Grove For $750 Million (journal-topics.com) — A fully leased data center at 800 E. Devon Ave. in Elk Grove Village has been sold to GI Partners for $750 million, according to Mayor Craig Johnson. The 189,000-square-foot facility, opened in 2024, strengthens the village's role as a national data-center hub, now home to 20 operating centers and five more under construction.
