8 Vie For 4 Open Seats On Elmhurst District 205 School Board

ELMHURST, IL - Eight candidates are seeking four open seats on the Elmhurst Community Unit District 205 board of education in the April 2 election, according to the Du Page County Election Commission.

Karen Stuefen, the current board secretary, is the only incumbent seeking re-election this election cycle. Challengers are Paul A. DeMichele, Christopher J. Kocinski, Stephan Schlesinger, Elizabeth Hosler, Gordon Snyder, Bojana Ozegovic Carey and Courtenae Trautmann.

DeMichele is of Bensenville. All other candidates have addresses listed in Elmhurst.

An Elmhurst woman who sent a letter to Patch last week said she supports Hosler and Trautmann.
