School Closings, Power Outages In Elmhurst

ELMHURST, IL — Due to the blizzard warning and predicted hazardous travel on Monday morning, several schools in the area will be closed on Monday, Nov. 26.

As of 8 a.m., 458 are without power in Elmhurst, according to the ComEd power outage map.

According to the Emergency Closing Center, Elmhurst schools that are closed are:

• District 205 (Madison Early Childhood Center, Edison, Field, Fischer, Hawthorne, Jackson, Jefferson, Lincoln, Emerson, Bryan, Churchville, Sandburg, York Community High School)
• IC Catholic Prep
• Immaculate Conception Grade School
• Immanuel Lutheran School
• Timothy Christian schools
• Mary Queen of Heaven Preschool
• Visitation Catholic School
• Elmhurst Academy

Elmhurst College is opening late at 12 p.m.
