Chicago's Christmas Tree Comes From Elmhurst
Deborah Orth and her family donated the 60-foot Norway Spruce to be the city's official tree.

ELMHURST, IL — Chicago's 105th Christmas Tree will come from Elmhurst. According to a release, Deborah Orth and her family donated the 60-foot Norway Spruce to be the city's official tree. Orth's tree was selected out of 79 submissions received by the Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events.
The tree will be delivered to Millenium Park on Friday, Nov. 2. According to a release, Orth and her family will join Santa Claus and other guests to light the tree at the 105th annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony on Nov. 16 in Millenium Park in Chicago.
