Courts Plus Offers Deal For Newcomers
Park district's fitness center won't charge joining fee through Jan. 13.
ELMHURST — The Elmhurst Park District's Courts Plus fitness center say its latest offer will encourage people to accomplish their 2020 fitness plans. Those who join Courts Plus from Dec. 16 to Jan. 13 will have no joining fee. And if they join before Dec. 31, they don't have to pay until 2020.
Membership in the park district's facility has a number of benefits:
- Two personal training sessions
- Free childcare
- More than 70 free weekly group exercise and yoga classes
- Fitness floor, indoor track and exercise equipment
- Swimming pool, whirlpool, sauna and steam room
- Discounts on programs, lessons, events and camps
- Rewards programs for working out.
Courts Plus uses no tax money; its revenue pays for itself. Officials say the center is seeing declining revenue lately because of competition from private health clubs.
